Astaxanthin, a member of the carotenoids family, is a dark-red pigment derived from the freshwater microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. It is one of the most powerful natural antioxidants known to science.

AstaReal cultivates the microalgae indoors under controlled conditions. This results in a safe, stable and pure product with at least 5% astaxanthin content in the biomass.
